Hi, I'm Julie Knox, Founder of Psychometrics Australia and Senior Career Practitioner and Founder at Blue Sky Career Consulting, which I've run for over 13 years. For the past three years, Blue Sky has also offered psychometric assessments as part of that work, and sitting on the candidate side of the recruitment table for so long has taught me that a great interview doesn't always mean the perfect long-term fit.

According to the Australian HR Institute, the average cost of recruiting a new employee in Australia now sits at around $24,000, and with this cost, I feel companies can’t afford to rely on applications and interview performance alone.

That's why I founded Psychometrics Australia, to give businesses access to valid, evidence-based assessment tools, that go beyond a quick 30-minute interview and a well written resume, and dig deeper into personality, suitability, cognitive aptitude and workplace behaviours.
